Cost justifying
Most business activities these days are measured to ensure that they
are worth undertaking. Cost-justification is the method of measuring the
costs saved or income earned (or both) from an undertaking. When measured
against the costs of that effort, it can be seen whether a profit or loss
was made. This can occur after the effort has taken place, or in some
cases will occur prior using forecasted figures, as a method of justifying
expenditure.
