Fidelity

In terms of a prototype, fidelity relates to the level of detail the prototype is designed to. A low fidelity prototype may be designed using just pen and paper, whiteboards or other non-technical elements. A medium fidelity prototype may be designed on a computer screen but may consist of images and graphics rather than coded HTML. A high fidelity prototype will normally be coded in html and may even have interactive elements (such as javascript) within it as well.
